Congratulations to our
2024 Youth of the Year:

Yazmin Ramirez Arias

Thank you to all who joined us on March 6th for our 2024 “Rising Stars” Youth of the Year. Each year, we welcome Club Members nominated by WBGC to give a presentation on why they believe they should be named “Youth of the Year,” an admirable title and Boys & Girls Club tradition. The judges are community champions who identify the Top Candidate.

This Leadership Development Program allows a Member chosen by local judges to represent the Watertown Boys & Girls Club nationally and qualify to join the next step as Massachusetts Youth of the Year, then Northeast Youth of the Year and a final chance to be delegated the National Youth of the Year and representative of BGCA for the entire country!

This exciting Club event supports exceptional children in our community who overcome obstacles and use our programs and services as tools to make the world a better place!

Thank you to our sponsors:

GREAT FUTURES START HERE

For over 50 years, the Watertown Boys and Girls Club has been building great futures for the youth and teens in the Watertown community. Our club is a safe, creative setting with trained, compassionate staff who help guide, mentor and coach boys and girls in achieving academic success, build character, connect with peers and develop healthy habits for a great future.

Our mission is “to inspire and enable all young people, especially those that need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.” Through affordable access to highly valued programs, WBGC lays the foundation on which youth can build a successful future. Your investment in quality programming will result in long-term positive impact on local youth within your own community.
