Volunteering at Watertown Boys & Girls Club
Volunteers are critical to the work we do at the Watertown Boys & Girls Club and transforming the lives of members. As little as one hour per week is all it takes to have a positive impact on a child’s life. Volunteers are key partners in helping us achieve our mission to “inspire and enable all young people” and we are thankful for all those who make our Club the special place that it is!
The Watertown Boys & Girls Club is looking for volunteers who can assist with the daily activities in all of our program areas:
- Teen and Social Recreation
These activities range from helping members with homework to playing games in the gym. Interested in coaching a basketball team, teaching an art class, chess or guitar? We are always looking for new, innovative ways to enhance our programming. Come share your passion with our youth!
Do you have a skill that could help our operations? We are always looking for:
- IT support
- Front desk administrative support
- Graphic design
- Website support
- Event planning
- Facilities support
- HR services
There are so many ways you can get involved! Come join the team of talented and dedicated volunteers we are fortunate to host. Together, we can have a lasting impact on our members!
*Background checks are a legal requirement that ensure member safety and must be completed prior to volunteer placement.
If you are an individual over 18 years old looking for a volunteer opportunity, please email our Volunteer Coordinator, Janet Buck.
Youth Volunteers (18 and under): please contact Teen Director, Rhode Moise.
Volunteering can be a great way to build teamwork, foster relationships, and give back to your community!
We welcome corporate and other groups seeking service opportunities. In one afternoon, a motivated group can transform a program space or engage a group of youth in a special activity. If you are a corporation, organization, or group looking for a volunteer opportunity, please contact Director of Development & Marketing Communications, Jen Bray.
