Note that a 2026-27 WBGC Membership is required for all participating children.
Please note the following for Session 1 classes:
Monday Classes: No class on 10/12/26 (Holiday). Make up date is 11/9/26.
Wednesday Classes: No 11am class on 10/7/26 (Elementary Early Release). Make up date is 11/18/26.
Friday Classes: No 11am class on 10/30/26 or 11/6/26 (Elementary Early Release). Make up dates are 11/13/26 and 11/20/26.

About Club Kid Academy
Club Kid Academy offers a fun, safe, engaging, and supportive community for caregivers and young children ages 6 months to Pre-K (4-5 yrs). Weekly classes are offered with a 6-week schedule on weekday mornings (Mon-Fri) during the school year in our FOUNDATIONS program space in the lower-level of our Club.
Some classes for our youngest members require a caregiver to participate directly with their child. Others will allow for the child to participate independently with our instructor while the caregiver remains in the program space where they are free to observe, network with other caregivers, or utilize a workstation to catch up on those “to dos” while class takes place. In all cases, the focus will be learning, creativity, friendship, and fun!
Meet the Instructor: Rachel Clancy
Rachel Clancy has been part of our team at WBGC since August 2025 when she joined our organization as a group leader in our KidConnect licensed after school program, working with kids in the K-2 age groups.
As the Lead Instructor of our new Club Kid Academy program, Rachel is excited to create a community where caregivers and their young children will learn and grow together. Under her guidance, our Club Kid Academy participants will explore and discover new passions and creative outlets through music, movement, arts and crafts.
Rachel has over 15 years of childcare experience as a lead teacher and administrator, working with children ranging in ages from infants all the way up to 4th grade.
2026-27 Session 1 Class Overview/Schedule:
Monday – 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Wiggle & Giggle (Ages: 15 – 24 months)
Wiggle & Giggle is a fun music & movement class for early movers. We will spend our time playing instruments, moving, grooving, and singing along to playful music that will enhance your little one’s gross motor skills. We will get you and your child up and shaking! Caregiver participation is required for this class.
Tuesday – 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Movers & Groovers (Ages: 2 – 3 years)
Movers & Groovers is an upbeat, fun class for young children to move, dance, and sing! We will spend our time playing instruments, moving, grooving, and singing along to playful music that will enhance your little one’s gross motor skills. We will get your child up and moving!
Wednesday – 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Little Hands, Big Art (Ages: 15 – 24 months)
Little Hands, Big Art is a fun class for you and your young infant/toddler to explore your creativity together. We will do giant collaborative floor-painting and stamping sessions, as well as simple activities for you and your child to bond while being creative! Caregiver participation is required for this class.
Thursday – 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Magic Crayon Club (Ages: 2 – 3 years)
Magic Crayon Club is a creative and engaging class for your young child to explore activities focused on drawing, coloring, scribbling, and early lines. We will also do activities that explore color mixing and painting. Your child will enjoy learning to explore creativity in fun and joyful ways.
Monday or Wednesday – 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Storybook Crafting (Ages: 4 – 6 years old)
Storybook Crafters is a great way to expand your child’s exposure to storybooks and fun crafts that match the theme of the book of the week. We will spend our time reading a fun children’s picture book and follow up with a fun craft or art project.
Tuesday or Thursday – 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Rhythm Kids (Ages: 4 – 6 years old)
Rhythm Kids Children will use creative props like scarves and streaming ribbons to interpret musical tempo, dynamics (loud/soft), and pitch through guided imaginative play. They will also explore multicultural drumming patterns, and complex movement games that connect the mind, body, and voice.
Friday – 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Crawlers and Crooners (Ages: 6 – 15 months)
Crawlers and Crooners is a fun music & movement class for little crawlers and walkers. We will spend our time playing instruments, moving, and grooving (or scooting!), while crooning along to playful music that will give your little one an engaging experience in music exploration! All while you share in the fun with your child. Caregiver participation is required for this class.
Friday – 11:00 AM – 12:00 pm: Tiny Textures Lab (Ages: 6 – 15 months)
Tiny Textures Lab is an engaging and immersive class for gentle, adult-guided activities designed for you and your baby to introduce new textures and sensory experiences. Share a creative, bonding experience with your little one while exploring safe materials with varying textures like felt, satin ribbons, and crinkle paper. Caregiver participation is required for this class.
Please note that Club Kid Academy will NOT run when Watertown Public Schools are closed for public holidays, school vacation breaks, weather closures or any other scheduled school closures.
