Mission & Vision

About WBGC

The Watertown Boys & Girls Club is the largest nonprofit in Watertown serving approximately 2,000 youth throughout the year in a creative setting with trained, compassionate adult staff who help guide and coach boys and girls in academic success, healthy living, character development and peer relationships. Young people enjoy meaningful opportunities to grow, learn and share during their critical childhood and teen years.

Mission

Our mission is “to inspire and enable all young people, especially those that need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.” Through affordable access to highly valued programs, WBGC lays the foundation on which youth can build a successful future.

Vision

Provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Commitment to Inclusion

We believe every kid has what it takes. The mission and core beliefs of Boys & Girls Clubs fuel our commitment to promoting safe, positive and inclusive environments for all. Boys & Girls Clubs of America supports all youth and teens – of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion – in reaching their full potential.

Your Long-Term Impact

Your investment in quality programming will result in long-term positive impact on local youth within your community.

By supporting WBGC, you help kids see a future beyond their difficult circumstances, provide them with resources to grow and give them courage to go after their dreams. You plant little seeds of hope that bloom into unlimited possibilities.

You help Club Members focus on their education, become contributing members of society and make their own positive impact in the world.

In allowing WBGC to remain a constant resource for children in need, you remind them that there are caring people who believe in them and want to help them succeed.

Your impact lives on in the next generation.
