Education & Leadership Development

Power Hour: In conjunction with Bentley University’s Service Learning volunteers, we offer Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Power Hour educational program every Mon-Fri from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. in our Education and Technology Center. With use of an incentive program, the Power Hour model helps create a climate of academic success in the Club while recognizing young people’s efforts and achievements to help motivate youth and increase participation.

Torch Club: Small-group leadership and service clubs for boys and girls ages grades 6th-8th. Torch Club is a powerful vehicle through which Club staff can meet the special character development needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage in their life. Torch Club meets every other Thursday from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.. For more information, please call the Club at 617-926-0968.

Keystone Club: Keystone is a unique leadership development experience that provides opportunities for young peoples, ages 14 to 18. Youth participate, both in and out of the Club, in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation, and community service. With the guidance of an adult supervisor, Keystone Clubs aim to have a positive impact on members, the Club and the community.

Nature Connection: Members will learn about the natural world through hands-on activities with live animals!

Science with Noah: Noah engages our members in fun and educational science experiments.
